DONELSON & HERMITAGE

Donelson and Hermitage are both neighborhoods that offer convenient access to the airport. The commute into Downtown Nashville is a bit more painful coming in from this direction since there are fewer back road options to get into the city but if you have a car with lumbar support, the affordable prices of the apartments in Donelson and Hermitage are tempting options. Donelson and Hermitage have a wide variety of options for shopping and dining. There is a lot of commercialized retail and plenty of grocery stores. Both neighborhoods are near Percy Priest lake so if you have a boat or if you just like to splash around in water, the apartment options in Donelson or Hermitage could be a great fit.

The apartments in Donelson and Hermitage are some of the oldest in the city but have seen different levels of renovations over the years. There are not a lot of brand new apartment communities in Donelson or Hermitage but a few apartment communities  offer stunning views of the lake and many have options for boat storage. The majority of apartment options in both Donelson and Hermitage are garden style apartments. Most apartments in Donelson and Hermitage have more classic layouts that feature dining areas and  washer and dryers or hookups included. Many apartment communities in Hermitage and Donelson have pools, community spaces and fitness centers. Many of the communities have a lot of trees and small man made lakes with a select few that allow fishing. The majority of apartments in Donelson and Hermitage are very pet friendly and include pet parks.

If you get hungry in Hermitage grab a beer and some lunch at JB’s Pour House or head on over to Shipwreck Cove for drinks and live music on the dock of the lake. Donelson and Hermitage are very close to Opryland, a Nashville landmark and pivotal part of Nashville’s music history. The Grand Ol Opry  features new and experienced artists regularly and is always a great show. Opry Mills is next door and is one of the biggest shopping malls in Nashville.
