Mt Juliet and Lebanon are suburbs of Nashville and are located in the Wilson County School district. Mount Juliet High School is a top ranked school which is no surprise since Wilson County has a long history of academic success. Mt Juliet is a quiet suburb with plenty of shopping and dining options. Mt Juliet is about 17 miles outside of Downtown Nashville with a reasonable commute and competitive rents. Just make sure you drive the speed limit because the Mt Juliet police are very active in the community. There are not many options for entertainment outside of eating and shopping but there are beautiful neighborhoods with gorgeous estates and plenty of normal suburban amenities like public parks, theaters and shopping centers.
The majority of apartments in Mt Juliet and Lebanon are updated garden style apartments. Many communities in Mt Juliet have a resort feel and surround large pool areas. The apartments in Mt Juliet come with fitness centers, dog parks and community spaces. There are more townhome options in Mt Juliet compared to other neighborhoods surrounding Nashville. Another advantage of the apartments in the Mt Juliet and Lebanon area is the square footage of the units. Apartments in Mt Juliet tend to be a bit more spacious and more affordable than in areas closer to Downtown. Many apartments feature washer and dryer included and upgraded appliances.
If you are visiting the Mt Juliet or Lebanon areas and love a treasure hunt there are many little antique stores to explore while traveling through the lush backroads of the city. Billy Goat Coffee Cafe has plenty of savory coffee drinks and melt in your mouth pastries. They also have a drive through so you don’t even have to put on pants to visit! Riverfront Tavern is a great spot to watch a Predator’s games, eat some wings and have a beer.
