Smyrna and Lavergne are situated halfway between Downtown Nashville and Murfreesboro. The area is not exactly a hotbed of excitement but it is a great option for an easy commute into Downtown Nashville and offers more affordable rents than in the Downtown market. Many of the apartment communities have traded out carpet for hardwood flooring and will include updated appliances. The majority of apartment communities in Smyrna include pet parks and since Smyrna has such a large amount of trails and parks it’s a great option if you have a fur baby or even a human baby and enjoy outdoor activities.

Make sure you visit Smyrna when the US Navy’s Blue Angels make their annual trip to town. Smyrna offers a great mix of both chain retail and dining and local hot spots. Karin’s Kustard & Hamburgers is a favorite local Mom and Pop shop for drive through burgers and scoops. Breaking Bread is a great spot for some filling Southern comfort food. Whether you have a hankering for Chinese, Thai, Mexican or a great steak you will easily be able to find something delicious among the many dining options in Smyrna.
